PEX for Contractors

PEX is flexible tubing used for water supply lines. Ask about PEX tubing and fittings for a rough-in, a repipe or an add-on, and call ahead so the branch can confirm what it has.

PEX FAQs

Do I need to know the connection method before I call?

It helps. PEX fittings connect in different ways, so tell the counter team which method your crew uses when you ask about fittings.

Does Smith Supply have PEX in stock?

The categories on this site are topics to ask about, not a guarantee of what is on the shelf. Call the store you plan to visit to check availability.

Does Smith Supply install or repair PEX work?

No. Smith Supply is a contractor supply store. We help you find materials; we do not install or repair.
